Refinishing of a BEATTEN up Musicman

Sham sent in his beloved musicman last week ..

" I want it white" he said .. There are a few notes we needed to look into before starting .

1.Musicman has a signature neck joint. You cant just layer over it . Their neck joing is WATER TIGHT!!! promotes sustain and enchance overtones ...

2. The neck's finish is 1/4 protected , 3/4 natural .

3. There's a custom Pickup config , and Sham likes his in a very rare manner ...

4. He needs it by next tuesday... !!!! Its Monday!!!

Starting work by identifying some dings and scratchs .
we need to fill out all holes , and sand down all the scratch

Sealed the holes so that the paint dont go into where its not supposed to go

Bad bad Sham.... How can u treat this baby like this... My heart aches ...

This musicman had seen its bad bad time... countless gigs and all . There's a saying that... All musicman are workingman's guitar... I personally believe so...Great sounding guitars .. awesome playablity .. But needs extra care when worked on.
