Repairing a broken gibson Neck

This poor baby came in.. Pretty beaten up , looks fine here.. but when i turn it behind...

OUCH!!!!! The truss rod area also affected.. This customer uses high tension gauge , if i would just glue it back , it will come off again... so , have a few more look and see...

ouch ouch ouch...

So i decided to use 2 graphite strips across the neck to re-inforce the neck.. The process is long... and we needed some light spray as the owner does not want the neck to be refinished.. just some small area spray.

After... Tadaaaaaa!!!

after glue. before polishing.

close up view.. Can you see the damage done before??? *pooof* just like new !!

I just polished the crack part to show the work.. The rest of the neck will be polished after this. :p
enjoy !
